NEXT LEVEL SPONSORED ATHLETE: MAX VIGNEUX

This month we are thrilled to introduce Max Vigneux from All Level CrossFit in Windsor Ontario. Max was the recipient of one of The Surround Foundation’s Next Level Sponsorship awards in October 2022, which in conjunction with CI Assante Wealth Management recognizes Special Olympics athletes who are working hard every day to take their games to the next level. Here is Max’s story!

Max came to All Level CrossFit one year ago looking to tackle some specific fitness goals. He wanted to improve his baseball and basketball skills. He has not only developed his athletic abilities but has also inspired and become a leader for other athletes in our adaptive community.

After one year in this specific training to improve his games, Max has now been motivated and pushed other athletes to create the best version of themselves.

Max now does personal training 2x/week, attends 2 other CrossFit classes during the week and participates in basketball and powerlifting with Special Olympics (he also qualified for Provincials in Powerlifting!). Max will represent Windsor-Essex in the Provincial games next May 2024!

Here is a list of Max’s accomplishments made possible by his hard work and dedication in the gym:

Max also became a member of our team, working at All Level CrossFit. He tends to facility maintenance, cleanliness, and client service.

Max’s comments: “Words cannot express how fortunate I am to not only be an adaptive athlete @alllevelxfit but to also to be part of their staff.  Thank you to everyone who’s ever believed in me and get me to where I want to be and achieve my goals.  I love and appreciate you all very much. ♥”
